PAT ENTED FRAME PROPORTIONAL DEFLECTION COMPENSATION SYSTEM G-flex
The G-Flex system guarantees consistency between each bend, in case the bending tonnage changes due to material characteristics such as strength, length or bending position on the press
Typical of all press brakes, frame deflections are caused by the "C-shaped" side frames which open during bending causing what is called "yawning effect". This makes the upper beam position measurement erroneous if the linear encoders are directly fixed to the side frames. To prevent this reading error, the machine is equipped with "C-shaped" sub-frames bolted at the bottom of the lower beam and connected to the linear encoders. With this system the subframes are independent from the main structure and as such are not subject to the above mentioned deflection thus partly guaranteeing correct positioning of the machine
With added G-Flex system, the actual position of the upper beam is measured by the two linear encoders installed on auto balanced lever on top of the "C-shaped" sub-frames. That mechanism does not follow any of the deformation of the frame during the bending therefore the measurement imprecision of the encoder caused by the yawning of the side frames is completely eliminated by the spring loaded mechanism
CNC DYNAMIC AUTOMATIC CROWNING SYSTEM G-CS
G-Top series is equipped with LAG's innovative CNC dynamic automatic crowning system G-CS, clearly one of the top crowning system in today's press brake market. Being built for maximum precision and absolute repeatability are the strong points of G-TOP series machines. Thanks to advanced systems such as G-CS,G-Flex and to a high strength and precision bolted frame structure
The core innovative aspect of the G-CS dynamic crowning cylinder is that it is controlled in real time in relation to the deformation of the upper beam during the bending cycle. The hydraulic pressure sent to the crowning cylinders is determined by measured values coming from two potentiometers that indicate the deformation of the upper beam and of the lower beam in a closed loop
The conventional crowning systems work from a calculated expected upper beam deflection and send a corresponding value to have the lower beam flexion equally. But this is only a presumable deformation without any feedback on its correctness. Material variations, parts length, holes or various openings and bending position along the machine bed can affect significantly the beams deflections, making anticipated calculations helpless. The bending result then becomes unsatisfactory and corrections need to be made, the Angle of the bend is not
your programming to set the exact value
The G-CS manages to achieve automatically, on the same thickness of sheet metal plate, a constant bending angle by keeping tooling parallelism along the full length of the bed, even when bending parts off-center. This is all done without any intervention or corrections from the operator of the press
Back gauge synchronized axes(X-R-Z1-Z2)
When it comes to ensuring a precisely bent part, the back gauge system is also another very important aspect of a press brake.Equipped with a standard 4-Axis (X一R一Z1一Z2) back gauge, this configuration already offers flexible and precise high speed gauging. Optional versions of the back gauge are also available depending on your requirements (GRP-5 (5-Axis), GRP-6 (6-Axis),
and GRF-6 (fully independent 6-Axis))
The unique design of LAG back gauge is attached very precisely and solidly to the side frames of the machine on dedicated machined surfaces for the high quality linear guides and gear rack transmission. This ensures perfect alignment of the back gauge structure with the side frame without any adjustment required

Retractable pneumatic supports
The GRP -R pneumatic sheet supports combined fixed along each Z1/ Z2 CNC moving finger extend out on request to support thinner sheet metal blanks that would otherwise be falling off behind the bottom die and hard to lie against the back gauge fingers. As soon as bending starts, the GPR -R retracts into rear position. This will prove very useful for bending large panels as the operator can feed the material in the same direction for continuous bending, and avoid most of the parts turning operation. Bending efficiency and precision is greatly improved

Manual sliding front supports
Modular and highly rigid, the front supports are manually sliding along the lower beam of the press on linear guides and a roller bearing at the bottom. The height is easily adjusted using a front located handle. You can also order some parking areas for those supports when required

Heating exchanging system
Another important competitive advantage of the hydraulic system comes from the use of a separate automatic oil cooling system. Hydraulic oil temperature upper limit is monitored by temperature sensors to control oil temperature within reasonable range. Automatic start-stop function effectively protects the cooling and hydraulic systems during long working hours preventing overheating of the oil than can cause permanent damages to valves or seals and reduce equipment performance
Independent crowing pump
In order to manage perfectly the crowning pressure, a secondary hydraulic pump is in line with the main pump in order to control the working pressure independently. This ensures constant bending accuracy

The electric cabinet is equipped with an air conditioning system that controls the temperature and humidity to an ideal level.
